Name: Riche - But you pronounce my name "Richie". I thought it’d be cool to leave out the “i”.
Nickname: Little Man
Color: Black, except for a white patch on my chest.
Weight: 12 lbs - yeah, I am a big boy! All muscle…really, it is…not baby fat or a big fur coat!
Favorite Treats: I LOVE vegetables! Baby carrots and broccoli are my favorites, but I also love lettuce and tomatoes. Of course, I love our Chicken Jerky. I like to bring some Jerky into bed after the lights are out and eat it in front of Roxy! Roxy gets so mad that Momma has to get up to get her some too! I’m not trying to tease Roxy, it’s just that it’s my piece and I know that Momma will get her a piece. Everybody thinks I’m not too smart because I'm always happy and act goofy, but I is very smart! I forgot, what did you ask me?
Hobbies: I LOVE to play fetch! No, you don’t understand, I really loves playing ball! We got this long hallway and Momma and Dadda are really good at throwing my ball down there from the living room. Sometimes I run so fast that it's hard to stop before I hit the door. It is funny, but I'm going to learn to slow down because now the cats are laughing at me, and I can't have that! I do get kinda crazy when I lose my balls under the couch and chairs. I bark, growl and yap until someone gets them out for me.
What other things do I like? Hmmm... Other than fetch, I love to just be happy, play with my sisters, and cuddles. I LOVE to cuddles with Momma & Dadda. I run up on their laps and flop over on my back, and they rub and scratch my belly! Everybody, like Xena and Roxy, says I’m a Momma’s boy, but I really just like making everybody happy by acting goofy. I is smart, but I don’t think I writes so good.
Anything else you'd like to mention, Riche? I very tough when other doggies and men come into our house, but that’s how a big, mean guard dog is supposed to be, right? I am NOT a chicken. I just need Dadda to let me knows it’s okay for them to be there, then I’m better.
I’m kind of shy around other dogs outsides--I'm tough at home, remember?! Momma & Dadda say it's a "confidence" problem, whatever that is, so they’re going to take me to a class soon. Mom says I’m too cute to be shy! Dadda says to “man up” which is hard for a doggie. But I am the baby of the house...even though I'm bigger than Xena or Roxy!
Can we play ball yet?
